About the role

The MA/LPN is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The MA/LPN is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The MA/LPN is under the overall on-site supervision of the Sports Medicine Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services.
  • Performs typical front and back office clinical functions.
  • Works under the supervision of the Sports Medicine Supervisor.
  • Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow.
  • Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while providing good patient care.
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed.
  • Verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during patient care activities.

Requirements

  • Vocational/Technical Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant degree must be conferred on or before the agreed upon start date.
  • Previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience.
  • Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
