About the role
A Clinic LPN who excels in this role:
- Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administer medication. Documents patient care given.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Maintains patient records and ensures accurate documentation of patient care.
- Makes rounds to monitor patient progress and assess needs.
- Communicates patient status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
- Schedules, appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider.
- Obtains insurance re-authorizations as requested for testing and scheduled procedures.
- Completes other related duties as assigned or requested.

Applicants should have a state of Michigan LPN license and have graduated from an LPN or LVN Program.
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) (within 30 days of hire)
- NIOSH and CAHOC certifications (within 6 months of hire)
- BAT and UDS certified (within 6 months of hire)
- Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits and healthcare backgrounds

$7,500 Sign-On Bonus available to qualified applicants
