About the role

A Clinic LPN who excels in this role:

  • Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administer medication. Documents patient care given.
  • Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Maintains patient records and ensures accurate documentation of patient care.
  • Makes rounds to monitor patient progress and assess needs.
  • Communicates patient status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
  • Schedules, appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider.
  • Obtains insurance re-authorizations as requested for testing and scheduled procedures.
  • Completes other related duties as assigned or requested.

Applicants should have a state of Michigan LPN license and have graduated from an LPN or LVN Program.

  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) (within 30 days of hire)
  • NIOSH and CAHOC certifications (within 6 months of hire)
  • BAT and UDS certified (within 6 months of hire)
  • Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits and healthcare backgrounds

Pay

$7,500 Sign-On Bonus available to qualified applicants

5 x8's, Days (7:30a-4pm or 8a-4:30p)
