Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Nightshift 3x12)

Responsibilities

• Achieves patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, working under the supervision of RN(s).
• Administers medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and performs diagnostic tests according to established protocols and procedures.
• Collaborates in controlled substance counts, adhering to safety techniques, procedures, and standard precautions while responding to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines.
• Assists in medical or minor surgical procedures, implements nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies and procedures in providing high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
• Maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
• Obtain and maintain CPR certification.
