Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
- Aid health care providers, registered nurses, and allied health professionals with examinations, treatments, special tests, and routine procedures.
- Obtain patient health history, laboratory specimens, vital signs, and administer TB skin tests.
- Conduct lab tests and ensure the results are delivered to the correct physician or registered nurse.
- Ensure patients are receiving proper care for injuries or conditions.
- Review patient charts; record and report observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient’s conditions.
- Cookordination patient transfers to medical facilities or outside health care providers; administer medications; implement healthcare practitioners’ orders; and document all patient contacts using the POMR format.
Qualifications
- Current/Active state license as an LPN.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Proficient with electronic medical records.
- Pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include a background check and drug screen.

Schedule
The LPN will work 12 hour shifts on 6p-6a and every other weekend.
