Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) - PRN Days | PAM Health New Albany

Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
• Gathers and reports patient data.
• Carries out orders from healthcare providers.
• Performs therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner.
• Works within the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification required.
• BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
