About the role
Interim Healthcare of Pueblo is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Instructor for its Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program. The position involves providing on-site instruction and education of entry-level care giving for future nursing assistants.
Responsibilities
- Provide teaching and instruction of all required education and skills for each student.
- Provide training's to meet all course competencies.
- Provide guidance and advice to students in regard to course progress, or any academic related concerns.
- Provide assistance, support, and report to the Primary Instructor as necessary to accomplish program objectives and goals.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license that is active in Colorado.
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required).
- One (1) year of recent nursing experience caring for the elderly or chronically ill in a nursing home/long term care facility.
- Minimum of One (1) year in one of the following: experience teaching adults, experience managing CNA's, or have completed the approved, “Train the Trainer” program.
Qualifications
Must have a strong background in nursing and experience in instructing and managing CNA's.

$33 per hour
