Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Hospice (Days) (PRN)

About the role

To assume the responsibility for the care of patients in the home through the provision of comprehensive skilled nursing services. To assist in the provision of home health care services that reflects the Agency philosophy and standards of home health and nursing care of assigned patients. To ensure quality and safe delivery of nursing care services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures
• Good organizational skills required
• Good verbal and written communication skills required

Experience

• One year of related experience
• A minimum of one (1) year experience as an LPN in an acute care setting preferred
• Experience in home health care or public health nursing preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Multistate Nursing License
• Driver's License
• Vehicle Insurance
• Healthcare Provider (CPR) — BLS required within 30 days of hire
