Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Home Health (Days) (PRN)

About the role

Identifies patient family needs and provides clinical care in accordance with physicians' orders and the Hospice Care Education Technical or Vocational school plus up to 2 years of specialty training.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical care in accordance with physicians' orders and the Hospice Care Education Technical or Vocational school plus up to 2 years of specialty training.
• Identifies patient family needs.
• Works within the policies and procedures of Hospice Care.

Requirements

• One year of related experience.
• A working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
• A Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Multistate Nursing License.
• A Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification within 30 days of hire.
• A valid driver's license.
• Vehicle insurance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year experience as a LPN in an acute care setting is preferred.
• A BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• A dependable automobile.
• Experience in Hospice is preferred.
• A BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
