About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at CorrectHealth will participate in the clinical aspects of patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement. Duties are performed under the supervision of the RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSC. The LPN must possess knowledge and ability to provide quality care and respond to needs within the correctional environment. They must maintain the standards and ethics of nursing as per applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.
Responsibilities

- Possesses knowledge and ability to provide quality care and respond to needs within the correctional environment.
- Maintains the standards and ethics of nursing as per applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.
Requirements
- Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program.
- Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment.
- American Heart Association BLS certified.
- Corrections experience a plus.
