About the role
Seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a correctional facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Delivering patient assessments, treatments, and documentation under supervision of an RN
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records and secure handling of sensitive information
- Managing controlled substances, narcotics, and sharps in compliance with laws
- Conducting sick calls, reporting symptoms, and participating in care planning
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the relevant state
- Effective communication and clinical competency
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in correctional healthcare is a plus
