How you will contribute

  • Absists RN with development of plan of care.
  • Absists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Maintains, documents, and communicates patient’s status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
  • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
  • Schedules appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider.
  • Obtains insurance re-authorizations as requested for testing and scheduled procedures.

What we are looking for

  • A state of Michigan LPN license and have graduated from an LPN or LVN Program.
  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) within 30 days of hire/transfer.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits and healthcare backgrounds.
