Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Endocrinology at East Cobb Health Park
Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor or Practice. The LPN recognizes patient's needs and symptoms in advance and provides care for the patient under the physician's direction. This includes preparing patient for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in medical record. The LPN assists with patient and family education and demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients of all ages.
Required Minimum Education
High School Diploma General or GED General or Other / Certificate Nursing
Required Minimum License(s) And Certification(s)
- Georgia LPN License
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor Required
Preferred and Experience
- In Ambulatory, Outpatient Setting Preferred
