Responsibilities

  • Achieve direction and guidance in patient education and activities aligned with your education and demonstrated competencies.
  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in both the Health Care Unit and housing units, contributing to individualized treatment planning.
  • Collaborate in controlled substance counts at the start of each shift, adhering to safety techniques, procedures, and standard precautions.
  • Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Support weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday).

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
  • Maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
  • Obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Qualifications

  • Reside in the United States.
