El Paso Health Care Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team in El Paso, IL. A $8,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time positions.
About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will ensure the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction. Your responsibilities will align with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements. You will operate within the scope of practice defined by the state Nurse Practice Act, oversee resident care, direct nursing staff during your assigned shift, and collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Direct and mentor nursing personnel during assigned shifts.
- Make staff assignments and ensure proper resident care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain professionalism in appearance and behavior.
- Communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
Requirements
- Active and in good standing Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Prior experience as an LPN in a long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facility (SNF), assisted living (AL), or memory care (MC) setting preferred.
- Passion for working with seniors.
