Role Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient-centered care under RN supervision, ensuring high-quality, age-appropriate interventions that address physical, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs. They assist with preparing patients for exams, treatments, coordinating tests, and documenting care. The LPN collaborates with healthcare team members, develops and revises care plans, and communicates patient status effectively. They serve as educators for patients and caregivers, promoting self-care and understanding through teach-back methods. Additionally, they participate in staff education, training new employees, and maintaining clinical knowledge. The role requires flexibility, reliable transportation, and proficiency in clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED; nursing certificateLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and BLS certificationPrevious healthcare experience; oncology or outpatient experience preferredStrong assessment, clinical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and computer skillsReliable transportation and scheduling flexibility
