Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Duties

• Provides skilled nursing care such as: implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operating medical equipment, and charting practices
• Lifts and transfers residents as needed
• Initiates emergency treatment as needed
• Makes observations and updates RN with current resident health status
• Communicates changes in resident conditions to relevant individuals
• May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements, and care plans

Requirements

• MN LPN licensure
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
• Able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Preferred previous healthcare experience
• Comfortable using computers, handheld devices, phones, and fax machines

Pay

Schedule

This nursing schedule includes:

• 48 hours per two weeks
• Day shift
• Every other weekend (sat/sunday)
• Holiday rotation
