Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN
Job Overview
Ebenezer is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus in East Bloomington, MN. This position provides skilled nursing care in compliance with regulations and follows established policies.
Duties
- Implements practitioners' orders
- Orders and assists with medications and supplies
- Operates medical equipment
- Charts practices
- Lifts and transfers residents as needed
- Initiates emergency treatment as needed
- Maintains monitoring of work and performance of unlicensed staff
- Updates RN with current observations and documentation of resident health status
- Communicates changes in residents' conditions to relevant individuals
- Supports RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements, and care plans
Requirements
- MN LPN licensure
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
- Able to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Preferred previous healthcare experience
- Comfortable using computers, handheld devices, phones, and fax machines
