Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About the role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. You will have the opportunity to work in an environment outside of the hospital setting, specifically with adults with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and complete med ordering
- Provide med stock oversight for an assigned caseload of community group homes
- Follow up on doctors' orders and contact physicians if necessary
- Examine individuals with medical and/or physical complaints
- Aid in daily living activities and during mealtimes
Requirements
- State LPN License
- At least (1) year experience preferred, New Grads Welcome to apply!
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
- Valid NY Drivers License
