Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

About the role

DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join an outpatient dialysis center. The position offers training and the potential to float to various facilities during and after training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in an empathetic and compassionate manner
• Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families
• Work in a fast-paced environment supporting patients with multiple co-morbidities
• Operate the water treatment system under the guidance of the medical director

Requirements

• Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice
• CPR certification required
• IV certification if required by state regulations
• Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body
• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation
• One year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexible schedule to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
