Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

About the role

Licensed Practical Nurse provides basic nursing care, including vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and assisting residents with daily activities, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Avamere Rehabilitation of Burien - 1031 SW 130th St, Burien, WA

Wage: $39 - $45 hour

Responsibilities

Essential Duties And Job Responsibilities include:

• Basic Nursing Care: Vital Signs, Medication Administration, Wound Care, Hygiene and Mobility, Nutrition and Hydration, Patient Monitoring
• Patient History: Record a patient's history and current condition
• Observation: Observe and document changes in a resident's condition, reporting any concerns to the RN
• Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Collaboration and Supervision: RN Supervision, CNA Supervision, Teamwork
• Other Duties: Patient Safety, Documentation, Emotional Support

Requirements

Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.

Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state

Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment

Prefer experience in long term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute and or critical care clinical setting

Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
