Avalon Health Care - E. Roy Stone, Jr. Veterans Pavilion is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Pay

$31.00 - $37.79 per hour, with a $3 shift differential for 7P-11PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Development, implementation, and modification of the comprehensive plan of care for facility residents
• Work directly under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other authorized health care provider
• Assess resident needs and develop individual care plans
• Administer and evaluate nursing care
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care

Requirements

• Active LPN license in the practicing state
• Understanding that state and Federal rules and regulations govern practices within the facility
• Experience in long-term care (preferred)

• Ability to assess resident needs
• Skill in developing individual care plans for patients
• Penchant for administering and evaluating nursing care
• Knack for supervising CNAs and other personnel
