Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
- CPR certification
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in the state, or in the process of obtaining one
- New graduates welcome!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
- Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care
- Follow physician's orders, render, and/or assist with complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders
- Review patient records daily to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
- Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs
- Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list
- Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary
Additional Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
- Leadership and supervisory ability, with the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel

Pay
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $35 to $42, depending on the shift and weekly pay
Schedule
- Full-time opportunity with second and third shifts available
- Includes every other weekend
