Responsibilities

  • Develop meaningful relationships with residents by learning about their life stories.
  • Utilize nursing skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
  • Communicate respectfully and positively with residents, staff, and families.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
  • Proficient medication management skills.
  • Able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of geriatric care and patient rights.
