Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Assisted Living

As an LPN, your work is essential in meeting the daily needs and activities of residents in a secure, hospitable environment.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents and co-workers with kindness and care.
• Approach challenges with patience, pleasantness, and grace.
• Ensure honesty and ethics are integral to your success.
• Participate in training opportunities and offer assistance to other areas and staff.
• Build and maintain close relationships with residents.
• Take initiative and provide guidance to Resident Assistants (RAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Provide stellar resident care according to each resident's specific care plan.
• Monitor and address resident safety needs.
• Achieve tasks outside of normal assignments to maintain a quality care environment.
• Assist with and monitor resident medication needs.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the applicable state.
• CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
