Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Adult Clients

About the role

Our BAYADA Delaware Adult Skilled Nursing Office is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) passionate about adult client care to join our Skilled Nursing Team.

Responsibilities

• Meet the team and discuss possible schedules fitting your lifestyle and client needs on your paid first day.
• Attend paid Orientation including training in the SIM lab, documentation, fit testing, and ID badge.
• Work with another BAYADA nurse during your first day in the client home to ensure comfort and fit.
• Travel to one client home near you on a flexible schedule.
• Follow up with, execute, and document doctors' orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Perform skills with autonomy in the home.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

What makes private duty nursing different

• Traditional shifts (8's, 10's or 12's).
• Hands-on care with only one client per day.
• Building client relationships and watching their milestones.
• Client age ranges from infant to young adult.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay up to $40/hour based on client care and shift.
