Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Acute Care, Resource Pool - Med/Surg, Full-Time, Days

Role Overview: Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Provider within a facility resource pool, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities Collects and documents patient data, monitors patient responses, and updates medical records accurately.Performs patient assessments, including vital signs, lab values, and use of specialized equipment.Administers medications following organizational policies and maintains patient confidentiality.Informs healthcare team members of patient status, observations, and changes in condition.Provides patient and family education tailored to individual needs.Adheres to organizational policies, including licensure renewal, infection control, and regulatory requirements.Willingness to float across various nursing units and work in an acute inpatient setting, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training, such as residency programs or LPN to RN transition programs.Current LPN licensure recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state licensing authority.Ability to perform delegated patient care functions and utilize specialized equipment.
