Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Acute Care, Orthopedic Surgery, Full-Time, Day

Role Overview: Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, focusing on patient assessment, monitoring, documentation, and patient/family education. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care based on individualized plans, addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs.Monitor and document patient vital signs, drains, dressings, lab values, and responses, notifying the healthcare team of any changes.Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, ensuring compliance with policies.Utilize specialized equipment for data collection, administer medications, and orient patients and families to routines.Perform additional patient care functions as licensed and assigned. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training, such as nurse residency programs or LPN to RN transition programs.Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state of practice.Ability to adapt if obtaining RN licensure, with notification to management.
