Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Acute Care, Medical/Surgical Nursing, Full-Time, Day Shift

Role Overview: Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, focusing on patient data collection, monitoring, documentation, and patient/family education. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient care based on individualized plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab results.Communicate patient observations and changes in condition to healthcare team members.Maintain accurate, confidential medical records.Administer medications and document accordingly, using specialized equipment when necessary.Orient patients and families to routines and perform additional delegated care tasks. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an approved LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training, such as residency programs or LPN-RN transition programs.Current LPN license recognized by NCSBN or applicable state licensing authority.Ability to perform patient assessments, administer medications, and maintain confidentiality. Additional Information: This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor, with a focus on compassionate patient care in a Medical/Surgical Nursing setting. The position involves day shifts at a hospital facility.
