Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 1st and 2nd shift

About the role

The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Responsibilities

• Passing medication and completing assessments and treatments
• Documenting the provision of these services
• Occasionally participating in activities of daily living care or assisting the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

Requirements

• A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina or a compact license that allows you to practice in North Carolina
• Long-term care experience
• A positive attitude and bedside manner
• A love for working with people

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Experience with long-term care settings
