Licensed Practical Nurse Lead - Neurology

Role Summary: Provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinic RN, including treatments, medication administration, and diagnostic support as part of a care team. Key Responsibilities Performs duties of a Clinic LPN, serving as a role model for quality patient care.Obtains and documents patient information, vital signs, and prepares patients for exams.Addresses physical, social, and psychological needs of patients and families.Observes, documents, and reports patient condition changes to the RN.Reinforces health education, collects lab specimens, and prepares related paperwork.Maintains cleanliness and readiness of exam and treatment rooms.Administers medications and treatments per protocols, and documents procedures.Prepares patients for diagnostic and surgical procedures, assisting providers as needed.Manages IV insertions, monitoring, and discontinuation as required.Ensures compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in all work areas.Participates in staffing coordination, inventory monitoring, and supply purchasing. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required). Demonstrates accountability, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a clinical environment, following policies and procedures.
