Renders patient care and a variety of procedures

• Delivers and documents care according to hospital policies, procedures and philosophies.
• Follows strict aseptic technique at all times.
• Uses sterile technique when indicated.
• Observes and reports all patient concerns and changes in condition to a Nurse immediately.
• Safely transports patients, supplies, and specimens.

Respects patient's privacy rights

• Respects values of individual patients.
• Provides care accordingly.

Assists with orientation of new employees

• Completes all annual competencies.
• Assists with unit cleanliness.

Performs other duties

• Complies with Corporate Policies, Procedures and Personnel Employee Handbook.
• Must be able to cross-train to other units.
• Demonstrates excellence in customer service skills.
• Fosters an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration.
• Participates in unit meetings.
• Participates in quality improvement activities including serving on quality improvement teams.
