About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) II provides a variety of practical nursing care, serves as "in charge" or team leader of assigned intermediate care patients in a ward or other patient care unit, supervises para-medical assistants and other unlicensed personnel, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Hawaii Licensed Practical Nurse License is required at the time of application
- One (1) year of progressively responsible work experience as a licensed practical nurse, licensed vocational nurse, or registered nurse, in performing a variety of personal care, nursing care and related technical work under the direction of a higher level licensed practical nurse, registered nurse or a licensed physician
- One (1) year of experience comparable in scope and difficulty to the LPN I
Qualifications
- Legal Authorization To Work Requirement: Must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States
Skills
- Knowledge of and ability to apply practical nursing principles and practices
