Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to provide practical nursing care to patients in various facilities managed by the Maryland Department of Health.

Minimum Qualifications

• Determined by the Maryland Board of Nursing under the licensing requirements for Practical Nurses.
• One year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Licenses, Registrations and Certifications

• Candidates must possess a current license as a Practical Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland may be required.
• Certification of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training may be required.

Special Requirements

• Employees must provide a phone number where they can be reached.
• Substance abuse testing may be required.
