Licensed Practical Nurse - Full Time - OBGYN

About the role

The LPN at FDC OB/GYN supports a team dedicated to providing comprehensive women's health services. The role involves both administrative and clinical duties, including phone answering, appointment scheduling, data entry, vital sign measurement, and patient preparation.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Data entry in medical records
• Making measurements and recording vital signs
• Collecting and reviewing patient medical information
• Cleaning and preparing examination rooms and equipment
• Stocking supplies
• Administering medications as prescribed by physicians
• Performing other duties as directed by the department

Requirements

• Graduate of a state board accredited practical nursing program
• Previous nursing experience, especially in outpatient or ambulatory clinic settings preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficient computer skills

Qualifications

• Required: Current License Practical Nurse or Graduate Practical Nurse active in the state of Missouri
