Licensed Practical Nurse - Full Time

Role: Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse in a correctional setting, responsible for providing routine and emergency medical care to detainees. Responsibilities: Administer treatments, medications, and monitor health conditions; perform initial and ongoing screenings; ensure safety and security during medication administration; follow documented nursing care plans; coordinate referrals and treatments; explain procedures to patients. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited LPN program; valid LPN licensure and Basic Life Support certification; correctional nursing experience preferred but not required; ability to obtain security clearance. Skills: Compassionate patient care, adherence to safety protocols, documentation, and communication skills.
