Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-time 7am-3pm

Westminster Communities of Florida is a national leader in senior living, operating not‑for‑profit Life Plan Communities and affordable Rental Retirement Communities for more than 10,000 residents. The organization provides independent living, assisted living, nursing care, home care, pharmacy services, therapy services, and affordable senior housing. The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in the Assisted Living setting at Westminster Shores, a Life Plan Community with Tampa Bay views in St. Petersburg.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Assist with the evaluation of residents' needs.
• Assist with planning resident care based on physician (MD) orders.
• Implement resident care according to MD orders.
• Evaluate care and communicate with the MD for updates of orders (PRN).
• Ensure residents receive medication at the prescribed time.
• Monitor blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressure.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfers, ambulation, toileting, and other needs.
• Ensure that Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) follow MD orders.

Schedule

Full‑time position, 40 hours per week, every other weekend, 1st shift (7 am – 3 pm).

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Florida.
• CPR certification.
• One year of long‑term care experience (desirable).
• Med‑Surg or home health experience (helpful).
• Experience working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
