Licensed Practical Nurse FT 7-3 & 3-11

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide professional and restorative nursing care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident assessments and record vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Deliver hands-on care and assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility
• Ensure accurate documentation and communication with medical personnel
• Train and mentor team members
• Participate in in-service education
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred experience in healthcare

Skills

• Strong communication abilities
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Proficiency in electronic records and office equipment

Schedule

This role may involve long hours, including nights and weekends, with occasional travel for training or education.

Physical demands

Frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
