About the role
DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. This is an entry-level dialysis position with a starting pay of around $24/hour.
This position involves floating between clinics in the area, providing support where needed across multiple locations. No prior dialysis experience is required. Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic, and you will float to various facilities during and after training.
You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Provide dialysis care to patients in outpatient settings.
- Operate and maintain water treatment systems after completing required training.
- Adhere to clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient health outcomes.
Requirements
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- IV certification, if required by state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
- BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
- Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook; functional proficiency in DaVita’s computer systems within 90 days of hire.

Pay
Starting pay of around $24/hour. Compensation for the role will depend on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
