About the Role
Fayetteville Primary Care is a busy, fast-paced office offering dynamic learning opportunities focused on a patient-centered medical home and continual advancements. We incorporate a nursing model with a team approach to meet the needs of the patient population. Training includes an orientation period to become familiar with practice workflows.
Schedule
- Eight-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Occasional evenings until 7:30 PM
- Occasional Saturday mornings, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Office closed on eight major holidays or observed holidays
Responsibilities
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions, including medical history and present illness assessment
- Care for patients from newborn to geriatric age groups
- Administer medications and vaccines upon completion of on-site training
- Assist with procedures and perform point-of-care testing
- Document using the EPIC electronic health record system
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of registered nurses, medical assistants, and providers
- Ensure quality nursing care in accordance with the New York Nurse Practice Act, National Standards of Practice, and Nursing and Clinical Service standards
- Utilize the Nursing Process in the provision of direct care to patients and families
- Follow Preventive Medicine Guidelines
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing
- Current licensure as an LPN in the State of New York
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification
- Participate in orientation, continuing education, and maintain knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise
Work Environment
- Clinical setting with Class I exposure
- Medium work: must be able to lift 25 pounds frequently; occasionally lift a maximum of 50 pounds
- Requires ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, and reach

Pay
Pay Range: $26.50 – $35.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
