Key Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to patients via direct and telephone contact following established standards
- Coordinating with care team members to ensure seamless patient care and active participation
- Assisting physicians with clinical procedures and patient education
- Supervising clerical and medical assistants
- Obtaining prior authorizations for medications and tests
- Maintaining inventory logs for medical supplies
- Administering medications and educating patients/guardians on their use
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current New York State LPN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of LPN experience or 2+ years as a medical assistant
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification
