About the Role
The LPN I is an integral part of the care team and a key contributor to delivering high-quality care that is compassionate, consistent, and reliable for our patients, families, units, and practices within the UVM Medical Center. The incumbent provides direct patient care under the direction of a provider or RN, delivers technical nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness, and performs clinical and administrative health care support services to patients and families.
Requirements
- Current LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
- Less than two years of LPN experience and less than 1 year of UVMMC employment, or
- Two or more years of LPN experience and less than 6 months of UVMMC employment, and does not meet criteria to become an LPN II (see Career Ladder for criteria required to be an LPN II).
Benefits
Sign-on bonus of $7,500. Candidates are eligible for the bonuses offered at the time a formal offer is extended.
