Licensed Practical Nurse - Emergency Department - Full-Time

About the role

Join a dynamic Emergency Department team as an LPN, providing patient care under supervision in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, from minor illnesses to life-threatening injuries, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver compassionate patient care
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Coordinate care with other departments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity setting
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN license in the state of practice
• Hospital-based experience; preferred one year in Emergency Department
• Basic Life Support certification
• LPN-IV Certification required within 3 months if applicable
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
