Licensed Practical Nurse - Dermatology

Role Overview

This position focuses on providing patient-centered care by supporting physicians, performing routine and specialized nursing procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist with examinations
• Administer treatments and medications accurately
• Monitor patient status and report changes
• Educate patients on health maintenance and post-care instructions
• Maintain documentation and assist in training new staff
• Order and manage supplies
• Adhere to safety policies
• Promote quality care

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and valid Colorado LPN license
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; IV therapy certification and experience with diverse patient populations preferred
• Strong customer service skills, attention to safety, and ability to work within scope of practice
