Licensed Practical Nurse (Day Shift)

About the role

This position requires a Licensed Practical Nurse to work in a hybrid setting in Rockland County, NY. The role is contract-based, focusing on day shifts, with responsibilities including administering medications, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed
• Supervise and train other healthcare support staff
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
• Document patient care activities in electronic medical records
• Supportive leadership and structured onboarding provided
• Free meals provided during shifts
• Consistent schedules and stable hours

Requirements

• Active New York State LPN license
• BLS certification
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
• Comfortable working independently
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willing to work at least one weekend day per week
• EMR experience a plus
