About the Role
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers compassionate, high-quality care to residents in a nursing home setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments accurately
- Monitor vital signs and resident conditions
- Document care and support care planning in collaboration with physicians and RNs
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide memory care support
- Respond promptly to changes in residents’ health status
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a resident-centered, culturally sensitive environment that emphasizes dignity, respect, teamwork, and continuous learning
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse certification
- Strong clinical skills in medication administration, vital signs, and monitoring
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a team and support residents’ independence and comfort
