Licensed Practical Nurse - Day shift

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of patients are met. Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of patients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans
• Perform basic physical assessments
• Provide patient care activities and related nonprofessional services
• Ensure the personal needs and comfort of patients in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care settings are met

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing
• Current license by the State Board of Nursing
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing preferred
