Licensed Practical Nurse, CV Surgery Clinic

About the role

Job Description Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is looking for an exceptional, patient focused License Practical Nurse to join our CV Surgery team and make a difference for our patients and our community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to adult and geriatric patients under the direction of the Manager of Clinical Operations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members (MD, PA, NP, RN, cardiology technician, ambulatory care coordinators) to implement the patient’s plan of care.
• Participate in department Quality Improvement Programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Practical Nurse by the State of Minnesota.
• Completion of an accredited training program for practical nursing.
• BCLS for healthcare providers certification through AHA.
• Minimum of six months experience as a practical nurse in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Cardiology experience preferred.
