About the role

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse Behavioral Health to join our expanding team in our Union Office. This position is ideal for motivated, compassionate candidates looking to advance their careers in a growing community.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders from providers and enroll patients in REMS
• Obtain patient insurance authorization for Spravato treatment
• Maintain patient treatment log and inventory control logs
• Supervise patients during Spravato administration
• Monitor patients and assess vital signs during treatment
• Perform all tasks outlined in the Spravato Program Protocol
• Assist prescribing providers and associated practitioners as needed
• Provide patient education on Spravato treatment protocols and aftercare
• Document meticulously and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with treatment planning and patient support
• Participate in ad hoc projects supporting behavioral health programs

Requirements

• Active NJ LPN license
• Current BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience; psychiatry or behavioral health strongly preferred
• Spravato/ketamine administration experience a plus
• Highly proficient with EMRs; working knowledge of Athena EMR a plus
• Excellent scribing and documentation skills
• Ability to connect with patients and work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Pay

$31–$36/hour depending on experience
