Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Summary

As an LPN at our facility, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering care to a vulnerable population under the guidance of RNs and medical providers. Some responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Aiding with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
• Taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions
• Providing wound care and changing dressings
• Serving as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team

Schedule

40 hours/week: Monday 3:00 PM - 7:30 AM + Tuesday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM + Wednesday 3:00 PM - 7:30 AM OR 2-12s and 2-8s Monday - Thursday

FACILITY: Southwestern Regional Jail
LOCATION: Holden, WV

What You'll Need

• Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice
• 1-2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred)
• Active CPR certification
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings
• A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care
