LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

About the role

WeCare tlc operates a health center for the employees and dependents of our client in Lake Mary & Sanford. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in this clinical setting. This role supports providers through direct patient care, clinical assessment, patient intake and discharge, laboratory services, medication dispensing, patient education, and care coordination. The LPN collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based care delivery while supporting preventive health initiatives and chronic disease management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a clinical environment
• Perform clinical assessments and patient intake/discharge
• Provide laboratory services and dispense medication
• Educate patients and coordinate care
• Support preventive health initiatives and chronic disease management
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure evidence-based care delivery

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Florida
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, PCT, or CNA
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic human anatomy
